Explore the fantastic lives of beetles, millipedes, tarantulas, walking sticks, whip scorpions and more! Our presenters will introduce your children to the extraordinarily diverse world of insects and other arthropods and teach you about their key role in the web of life. Scientific observation, insect identification, and the natural history of bugs’ lives are just some of the areas we focus on.

Our educators begin by talking about insect behavior and morphology. They then move on to the hands-on section of our program. One by one, our educators talk individually about each insect they’ve brought, allowing the kids to hold each of them.
