Celebrate the First Nations of the area, the Wappo People, with the St. Helena Historical Society. Learn about the culture and history of the First Peoples of the area through the Library display series, St. Helena, Then and Now. As a part of the upcoming sesquicentennial, we are proud to recognize the people that have helped make St. Helena. All are welcome!

Come enjoy cookie decorating at the Library, a free, family-friendly event for little ones and their grownups!

The Silverado Handweavers and Spinners Guild was first formed in 1973 by a few dedicated fiber artists in the Napa Valley to promote handweaving and spinning to a high standard. Today, we continue that mission as well as exploring other fiber art disciplines.  We meet once a month to share fiber news and our latest projects. Several times throughout the year we have guest programs of interest to our members.

This year’s exhibit is inspired by the works of Paul Klee.  Some members explored the shapes, other people honed in on the colors, and still others embraced the same subject matter.  We hope you enjoy our creations as much as we enjoyed making them.

A demonstration will begin at 2pm.

It's fun, easy, and lends itself to a wide variety of projects such as purses, hats, blankets, and endless fiber possibilities. Whether a beginner or seasoned crafter, join us to learn or share tips, techniques, and inspiration while working on your personal project. 

This is definitely not your Grandmother's crochet!

6th - 12th graders are invited to the St. Helena Public Library the third Wednesday of the month for crafts, games, movies, and time to socialize and relax. Hope to see you there!
