Who May Borrow
Any person having a valid SNAP (Solano, Napa and Partners) library card may check out audiovisual materials.
All materials, excepting “STARS DVDs” circulate for 21 days (3 weeks). STARS DVDs circulate for 7 days (1 week). Materials borrowed from other SNAP libraries may have a different loan period.
The maximum total number of items of any kind checked out per person is 50. Patrons are asked to restrict their borrowing of STARS collection items to one item per library visit.
All materials may be renewed twice (by phone, online or in person at the Library) unless someone else has placed a request for the item Items borrowed from libraries other than SNAP libraries may not be renewed.
Fines and Fees
The fine for overdue adult items is 20 cents per day. The maximum fine is $6.00. The assessment for lost
or damaged items is the list price plus a processing fee of $6.00.
Care of Materials
Please handle all videos, DVDs, CDs and cassette tapes with care. A fact sheet is available: just ask! If damage occurs or if you notice that an item has been previously damaged, please notify Library staff.
The St. Helena Public Library assumes no responsibility for damage to a borrower’s equipment caused by the use of library materials.
